The International Program Committee is excited to announce calls for participation for our 2025 International Conference in Bogotá and Medellín, Colombia, June 15–23, 2025, in conjunction with the International Alliance for Women in Music (IAWM). CMS is excited to announce that they will be collaborating with the International Alliance for Women in Music (IAWM) for this conference. The IAWM call is open to any topic but particularly encourages proposals that center the theme:"Women of the World: uncovering unheard voices; raising the visibility of underrepresented women globally; those women who are reimagining equity and inclusion in the world of music making; those challenging the “canon”; those whose history has been ignored, and we particularly want to celebrate the wealth of music creation and performance by and about women in Latin America.

During this program, the Bluestem Blaze will be performing Dayton Kinney’s Discernible Angles either in Bogotá or Medellín, Colombia, June 15–23, 2025. More information will be shared soon!
